Thank you, for verifying this. I knew I’d read about this issue, somewhere, but was having a difficult time finding the link to verify that I’d read it from a reliable enough source to speak about it.

I agree, completely, that this ad doesn’t seem at all rapey to me. Although now that I’ve looked at it for a second time, sans all the background noise that is my house at times, I don’t think it was going for her not being impressed with a real drink. Given the tagline of “we know good taste” I think the point they were trying to make was that, if you give a girl this particular alcohol, she’ll know you have good taste and therefore want to date you instead of just friend-zoning you. Either way, though, definitely not rapey.
This, exactly. I would go NUTS living between Spongebob and Patrick.
Yes! My exact thought! Gotta love stupid criminals and karma!
Most bussers/dishwashers/cooks make far, far more than the servers do. That’s normal.
Clearly, you know nothing about Adam.
Your point?
May I ask why? I’m really not trying to spark an argument, I’m honestly curious.
This, exactly. Adam is actually talented and doesn’t have to make his entire career out of being unnecessarily cruel at the expense of others. There is a very fine line between poking fun at someone in a funny way, and being awful, judgmental, and nasty. Joan crossed that line EONS ago.
The only one that really bothers me anymore is killing spiders. I am absolutely TERRIFIED of them but I do my very best not to let my daughter see that fact. It’s definitely not easy, though!
