I would ask you to reconsider that statement a bit. No matter how horrible the actions or associations of a person, wishing for their family’s entire world to be taken away, or feeling no compassion when it falls apart in their hands, is not something ANYONE deserves. Maybe he was part of a group that stands for horrible things, but he likely died just going about his everyday business as a result of unnecessary violence. Even if he did die as a direct result of jihad, his family is not at fault; may not have even known the man’s affiliations or the extent of them, and the fact of the matter is they lost a father, a husband, a son, a brother, and a friend. This family did nothing wrong, and they are grieving humans with emotions, too. I feel tremendously sorry for them, because I would not wish that on anyone.
