This article divides people. Yes, 99% of us descend from immigrants, this is a melting pot, we should embrace different cultures, blah blah blah. No one is arguing that. But why can’t people just come here LEGALLY? The word “illegal immigrant” means you are an immigrant who came here illegally. Why shouldn’t that crime be punished the same way I get punished for speeding? Or battery? Or possession? Why is being undocumented being heralded as this brave thing? It’s still illegal, we shouldn’t celebrate it. They should become citizens, like so many other immigrants do.

What I’m saying is, people SHOULD be able to drive in the snow like its a piece of cake…but if there is a snow flurry or bit of rain, people tend to drive 20 miles under the speed limit. I’d love to live somewhere where people thought it was a piece of cake.

I grew up in downstate IL and now live in Chicago, which are like two different planets, and yet much of this article applies to neither.
It’s lightening bugs, soda, and no people can’t drive in snow like it’s a piece of cake, or else there wouldn’t be 4 hour commute times during a snow storm. I’m also pretty sure they embrace ranch dressing in the south too. LASTLY…they just announced that Caribou Coffee is pulling out of the Chicago market.
So…I think this article is inaccurately named.
