1.
1997. A fishing trip with his dad. "What do you want to be when you're older, son?" Drake stares out at the lake. "Whole," he whispers."
2.
Noon. A package is delivered through Drake's door. "FRAGILE HANDLE WITH CARE" has been stamped on it. "A box for my heart," Drake whispers.
3.
1:03 AM. An officer is called to a reported break-in. "Is anything missing?" he asks. Drake stares out of a broken window and sighs. "Her."

Drake gazes at his reflection in the lake; it looks sad. "How can I find her," he thinks, skimming a stone, "when I can't even find myself?"
5.
Disneyland. Winter. Drake studies a map of the theme park. "YOU ARE HERE", the sign reads. "Yeah," Drake mutters. "But where is she?"
6.
Drake, on babysitting duty, sits with his niece watching Frozen. A lump appears in his throat as 'Let It Go' comes on. "I'm trying, Elsa."
7.
A second-hand book store. Drake finds a copy of Twilight. A sticker on it reads "USED". He looks around, then leans in. "You too?" he says.

Drake fakes a smile as a waitress takes his plate. "Do you want anything else, sir?" He closes his eyes. "A second chance," he mutters.
9.
Drake sits alone in a room. His phone vibrates. "What if it's her?" He goes to check but hesitates. "It can't be her. It never is."
10.
A fall afternoon. Farmer’s market. Drake is apple picking and stumbles across a bruised apple. “Who did this to you?”, he whispers.
11.
"It's time for an eye exam. Read the letters." Drake sits down, reading. "T, U, V" He stutters, "X." A stream of tears falls to his satchel.
12.
Drake is about to take the redemption shot in beer pong. He sighs, then walks away. "If she didnt give me a second chance, why should they?"
13.
Thanksgiving. Drake plays Operation with kids at an orphanage. A tiny boy goes first. Drake gently grabs his arm, "anything but the heart"
14.
As Drake rinses his hair, he stares at the bottle of Johnson & Johnson shampoo. "No more tears" it reads. He sighs. "Maybe one day."
15.
As the pilot announces that the plane has reached an altitude of 35,000 feet, Drake stares, blankly. "How can I be so high, yet so low?"
16.
The cashier asks Drake, "Would you like cash back?" Drake shakes his head and thinks to himself, "But I'd like her back"
17.
A motel room. TV blaring. "Police are tonight chasing a suspect..." "At least one of us is a wanted man tonight," Drake sighs.
18.
A hotel. Despite entering the WiFi password, "Unable to establish a connection" flashes up on Drake's laptop. He sighs. "Story of my life."
19.
Drake turns on his Xbox. "No" he says, as he turns off his Xbox. "There's no time for games."
20.
After emptying a bucket of ice over his head, Drake begins to nominate Rihanna, but hesitates. "No," he thinks. "Her heart is cold enough."
21.
Drake drops his phone. He picks it up and runs his finger over the cracked screen. "It's okay," he thinks. "Everything breaks, sometimes."
