    Yes, Maggi has been banned by the food safety regulatory authority in India due to very high lead content.

    But what of the Maggi that has already been distributed or is being sold in the market?

    "Around 400 million packets of MAGGI Noodles are being destroyed," Nestlé India posted on its website, along with this image explaining the recall.
