@osmot: Done, a long time ago. That region is called, “Norden,” a.k.a. the Nordic Countries (or Nordic Region). Geographically speaking, only Norway and Sweden are “Scandinavian” countries (sharing the Scandinavian Peninsula), culturally we’re sometimes bunched together with the Danes (as in Scandinavian Airlines System (of which FinnAir is definitely not and never was a part)), and rarely the Finns are added as well (probably because, due to a several-centuries-long Swedish “administration” (which ended with Russia’s takeover in 1809), Finland has two official languages (Suomi (> 90%) and Swedish (~ 5%))).
