Does Anyone Else Remember Going To This Model Village In Buckinghamshire As A Kid?

    That place was the best.

Does anyone else remember going to this place as a kid?

The little model village of Bekonscot in Buckinghamshire?

    Wasn't that place the best?

    It had a miniature lake!

    And an itty bitty pub!

And wee little racetracks with wee little horses!

And itty bitty mechanics fixing itty bitty cars in an itty bitty garage!

And a little farm with a little windmill!

And a mini river with a mini footbridge!

    And a tiny swimming pool!

    With a tiny diver!

And tiny sunbathers working on their tiny tans!

    AND A TINY BURNING HOUSE!

    Save the day, tiny firefighter!

    Yes! You did it!

And most importantly, it had little baby trains.

Marvelous little trains that would choo choo all over the place.

The trains were the second best thing about Bekonscot.

The best bit was getting to feel like a giant.

You were invincible when you were a giant.

The third best thing about Bekinscot was riding around in this.

And Bekonscot is still there, guys!

It's right there in Beaconsfield, right where it's been since 1929!

It's closed until February but it's definitely still there. Just look at their lovely wee website.
