2. Bossypants, Tina Fey

If you thought Mean Girls was the best thing Tina Fey bought into this universe, please, give this a read, then have another think. Prepare to actually LOL - in a completely literal sense.

3. Yes Please, Amy Poehler

Basically written for anyone with an inner-entrepreneur trying to escape into the big bad business word, this easy-read is filled with practical advice about being a BOSS.

5. The Fictional Woman, Tara Moss

"Our sex need not primarily define who we are, what we are capable of, or what we can be expected to enjoy or engage in. In other words, the boy with the Barbie doll does not have a problem with identity. He simply has a Barbie doll."

In her first non-fiction work, Australian author Tara explores the labels she's worn as a woman, mother and model. If you need a reminder of why feminism matters - well, this would be the perfect place to start.

Love Lena. Hate Lena. Beyond some of the ridiculous controversy this book has sparked, it's about as raw as an autobiography can get, which makes it worth a read. The end.

8. Thrive, Arianna Huffington

Okay, so even though this one might not technically be an autobiography, in her discussion of well-being, wisdom, giving and wonder, Arianna touches on Huffington Post as well as her childhood and role as a mother. Mindfulness and business collide in this read, perfect for anyone who is always just so busy.
