Skunks are way more affectionate and way smarter than cats."

Photographer Vincent J. Musi is known for his breathtaking portraits of animals. While on assignment for National Geographic, Vincent stopped by Skunk Fest, an annual event in Ohio that celebrates anything and everything skunk related.

Vincent writes, "I've always been fascinated by the things that connect us, like how really different people might choose the same kind of car, down to the color and model. So I went to Skunk Fest and was fascinated to see who owned skunks. What did they share, if anything, besides an affinity for an animal that is not often admired?"
