I’m not an expert, but I thought the same. I don’t buy the Asperger diagnosis, I feel it more like a narcissistic disorder (which I have myself) with an repressed homosexuality. But who knows.
Actually, some people here in México call it like that: Día de los muertos. Día de Muertos is more common, that’s all.
This is wrong. Día de los Muertos is celebrated all across Mexico, every region has its variations, yes, Oaxaca (along with Michoacán) is probably the most famous because of its similarities with the original prehispanic celebration, but that’s all. Even Mixquic, in the heart of Mexico City is a well known place for this celebration. And yes, yes, yes people, all Latin America celebrate this holiday, but it’s an original Mexica (Aztec) celebrations, so, technically, is mexican. And is an UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
