Doctor Who Sent A Heartwarming Message To A Boy With Autism Who Lost His Nanny

"It's nice to know that there's somebody like you out there, that's on our side, and you should know that we're on your side too."

A nine-year-old autistic boy named Thomas sent a letter to the Doctor Who star following the death of his nanny.

The video arrived just before Thomas' nanny's funeral. His father said that is "helped him deal with his grief in a profound way."

In the video Capaldi says: "Clara and I are travelling around in time and space. Sometimes bad things happen to us. And sometimes sad things happen to us too."
