"Great British Bake Off" Judge Mary Berry Would Rather Not Live Past 90

She told the Radio Times that she doesn't want to become a burden on her family.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Mary Berry said: "I have no desire to be a centenarian. I think 90 is a great time. You've had a good innings."

She also hinted that she might like to see the legalisation of assisted death, saying: "I would love my children to be able to give me a pill, although of course I do understand that could be abused."

The 79-year-old baking goddess has no plans to stop doing Bake Off any time soon though.

She told the magazine: "I have no remaining ambitions. I want to continue to be a good granny and a good wife. My great privilege is that I can say 'no' to things, so I only do what I love. And I really do love Bake Off – they're my other family."
