The lyrics to the original band aid single have been changed. The original lyrics referred to the famine in Ethiopia, while the new lyrics are about the Ebola crisis in West Africa.
Bono's infamous line changed for #BandAid30 to "well tonight we're reaching out and touching you"
Bono and Sting's lines from the second verse have been changed.
And the third verse that everyone sang together has been changed.
The fouth verse, originally sung by Paul Young, has also been changed.
Not everyone is happy with the new lyrics.

If it's at all possible, they've managed to make the #BandAid lyrics even worse. Good cause. Bad songwriting.
