I applied for BuzzFeed's emerging writers fellowship and was able to get reference letters from three of the greatest authors of the last century. Hope it does me some good ;)
Life is full of compromises--especially when you're seeing someone--which is probably why I watched the American Horror Story: Hotel premiere. Since this season began with a heavily featured Lady Gaga, it got me thinking about the many other notable musicians before her who made the transition from song to screen. Which musician-turned-actor do you think pulled it off the best and didn't compromise their artistic ability? Personally, my vote goes to Tom Waits. Feel free to name drop your favorite in the comment section if they aren't on the list! Side note: I'm really looking forward to spending every Monday night making my girlfriend watch season 2 of Fargo.
