Who Is The Best Musician Turned Actor?

Life is full of compromises--especially when you're seeing someone--which is probably why I watched the American Horror Story: Hotel premiere. Since this season began with a heavily featured Lady Gaga, it got me thinking about the many other notable musicians before her who made the transition from song to screen. Which musician-turned-actor do you think pulled it off the best and didn't compromise their artistic ability? Personally, my vote goes to Tom Waits.
