Saved by Zero Backlash
That “Saved by Zero” Toyota commercial is driving everyone crazy. There are petitions, blog campaigns, and a couple of Facebook groups you can join to try and get the ad off the air. Now '80s group The Fixx (who wrote the original song) has weighed in that they don't really like it either. I'll leave it to the experts to decide whether it's more or less annoying than Subway's “Five dollar foot long” commercial.

Saved By Zero video. I like it. It is a catchy tune and informs me about a money saving opportunity.

I must defend the Subway ad. About eleven o'clock that little jingle starts floating through my head, and by noon I'm eating fresh. It's Pavlovian!
