Hooooo Nelly….That last point about the box that Stewart exists and the box Wallace exists in changing….that really sealed it….I had goosebumps. And honestly, this is the second time I've seen stewart interviewed on fox where they try and figure out if there's any GOP candidates he's going to vote for, and I'm glad he spoke up this time about this kind of question because it seems like they are just nodding their heads and going “uhuh uhuh” when he gives such well thought out answers and then goes in for more “they thought” well prepared gotcha questions/examples (yes, I used that term…sorry :P ). I will say that the one and only strong point Wallace made was that I think Stewart was fillibustering at some point, but the counterpoint to that would be it seemed rather difficult to convince Chris Wallace of anything, no matter how intelligently well put, whereas Wallaces points didn't hold up very well or for very long. Say what you will about Stewart and the political idealogue's that “inform” his comedy, he will respect a rationale argument wherever is comes from. If he got that outplayed, he may go down swinging, but he probably at some point would go “hm….you know I see your point at least”, Wallace seems unable to do that, which for the guy who adds legitimacy to the talking heads at Fox News….that's pretty sad. Anyway, this interview was pure gold. Not because it was sensationalist, but I have never seen such a measured and thought out response from Stewart that so thoroughly made his point in the face of such a lame and denegrating counterpoint in quite some time. He's come a long way from Chris Tucker calling him a “butt boy” :P .
