I would get so irked with a man who hit his wife inappropriately, too, if it weren't for the fact that I'm irked that he's hitting his wife, period.

There is a big difference when you beat someone and when you hit them…and what he is explaining is when you hit your wife because not only Arabs or Muslims hit there wife but many men around the world so he is telling them when they are put in a situation where they are fighting or she is being ignorant that if he hits her it should never be in the face or to the extant ware she can get bruised it should be light like when you are punishing a child..and I believe that is ok because I know a lot of men don’t get that and they not only hit women but beat them to the extent ware they have to go to a hospital and that is not acceptable
