Wait: fall = autumn, no? :-/
Wait: fall = autumn, no? :-/
Um, no, June 14 is not in the summer (technically). Late July to mid-August birthdays, where stepping outside is like stepping into Satan’s crotch, just plain sucks.
Ugly is truly on the inside, and jboreing, I think your ugly is showing.
Want to be a closed-minded bigot? Be jboreing.
I don’t think they are the ones that need to wake up here, marshalls3.
Whoops, my apologies! Looks like both are correct!
Well, NASA doesn’t believe in you, either, so nyah!
Ok, I genuinely laugh-cried at that one!
This is another one I took during an unforgettable summer semester in Japan. This was taken from an overpass in Tokyo Bay, looking back at Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower. Takes me back to that moment every time I see it.
I tend to enjoy taking macro photos, especially close-ups of flowers and other things I find in nature. I wish I knew the name of this flower, but I took it at the MO Botanical Gardens last year. Something about the texture of the thick petals, the pop of yellow, and the almost spiral layout of the petals makes me love this one more and more every time I look at it.
I don’t know about other blind-w/o-glasses folk, but as for #16, and I’m realizing I’ve done it for so long that I don’t really think about it now, but I tend to put the bottles of shampoo and conditioner in specific spots so I know which is which. Or, in the case of my travel bottles, label each with a GIANT “S” or “C”. Many bottles of the same brand have different shapes for each, but those that don’t just get put in 2 different places in the shower.
It usually doesn’t come down to what’s “meat” and what’s not (many people ask me, when I say I’m veggie, if I still eat fish…I always give them a funny look before answering with a polite “No”), it’s what’s a living being and what’s not. So, to me at least, insects are living animals and therefore I would not eat them. Not that I’d really want to, anyway.
I know it may be gender-exclusive, but my very first thought when seeing this was, “Why didn’t they go with the obvious - ‘Cumbersnatches’?”
If you take some sort of bizarre pride in coming across as an illiterate monkey-child, then by all means, keep on keepin’ on.
No: it’s saying one pound of X = one pound of Y. Just like one pound of feathers weighs the same as one pound of lead. You just need a LOT more feathers (bigger volume) to make a pound than you would lead.
I know I’ll win some kind of “party pooper” badge or something, but as a lifelong baseball fan, I can’t really support this. I don’t know, it’s like calling my brother “hot”; I’m just so familiar with it, I can’t see it. Also: if this were about, say, women’s tennis, wouldn’t you expect to see more of an anti-objectifying outcry? I watch baseball to watch baseball, not ogle at DAT ASS.
OMG TUNO! I miss it so much…it haunts my dreams…
Amen to that! Also: they left off “Missouri” on the list of where to find it. Whoops…
