Finally, after the longest campaign in recent Canadian history, Election Day is here.
The Conservatives, led by Stephen Harper, have had some very interesting campaign strategies to say the least.
As our Brit friends would say, the Tories threw a few dead cats on the table, most notably the wearing of the niqab at citizenship ceremonies.
One Conservative said Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau would mandate community brothels.
Most recently, Harper — who's also campaigned on low taxes — hung out with famous former Toronto mayor Rob Ford.
Much more interesting, though, is just how many Canadians have voted so far.
The last polls showed Trudeau’s Liberals — who've campaigned on a plan to invest heavily in infrastructure by running budget deficits for a few years and legalize marijuana — with an increasingly solid lead.
Polls show the Conservatives, who are seeking their fourth-straight win, in second.
Meanwhile, the NDP — who were leading in the polls when the writ dropped — have fallen to third.
A reminder that, in case you haven't voted yet, you can read our highlights of each of the major parties' platforms here:
