EastEnders have been celebrating their 30th anniversary this week with a string of live episodes which culminated in the big reveal of just who killed Lucy Beale.
However, last night it was dramatically revealed that Lucy was killed by her 11-year-old brother, Bobby, who not only is obviously a child but also wasn't listed as a suspect at any stage.
Needless to say, EastEnders fans went into absolute meltdown after the show ended.
People were quick to draw attention to the fact that AT NO POINT WAS BOBBY A SUSPECT.
And others pointed out the various flaws in the episode.
There was shock and disappointment.
There was outright rage.
There was frustration.
And complete disbelief.
Comparisons were drawn between EastEnders and other TV programmes.
EVEN BLOODY DANNY DYER GOT INVOLVED.
People were genuinely let down. 😔
There were the inevitable, "I knew it was him all along" comments.
Which got annoying very quickly.
It wasn't all doom and gloom though. There were a few memes to lighten the mood.
But there is still hope for another, final, twist in tonight's completely live episode.
However, EastEnders executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has tweeted this which kind of shuts down any of those theories.
