Taylor Swift Dedicated A Song Onstage To Her Godson And It's Ridiculously Lovely

I'm not crying, there's something in my eye.

We all know that Taylor Swift is the queen of giving good advice and would probably make the most perfect godmother imaginable.

So it's unsurprising that her BFF Jaime King decided to make Taylor godmother to her son, Leo Thames, even before he was born.

And during the latest date in her 1989 world tour, Taylor proved just how much the role means to her, making a ridiculously cute dedication to her godson.

As she introduced her song "Never Grow Up", Taylor revealed that the lyrics had taken on more meaning since Leo was born.

    She said:

I wrote it when I was like, 18 or 19, but my friend just had a baby and she made me godmother of it, and I was holding this little baby the other night and I was just thinking differently. When you're holding on to something that's so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what's coming for it with the world. The world is going to throw so many things at you as you grow up.

And it didn't take long before Jaime saw footage of the dedication and took to Twitter to thank Taylor – and tell her that Leo is "blessed" to have her as godmother.

This is so beautiful Tay - Leo Thames is so blessed. https://t.co/BavDEoMijt
