Oprah, what have you DONE? The talk show behemoth is offering (until midnight tonight) a free meal of grilled chicken and sides from KFC, but a New York City branch has already announced that the promotion is “over for the day,” causing angry customers to stage a sit-in.
This, of course, begs the question of what came first: the chicken or the Oprah?

Also here in California we have had no problem with the coupon..No issues here…I agree with Felice J…get over it people, and buy your own darn chicken…it's actually pretty good as well if you are looking for a healthy meal!

i don't know what states experienced problems, but here in Virginia it went very smoothly. No problem downloading the coupon and no problem receiving the offer. Instead of complaining, remember this was FREE. There are always a bunch of ungrateful people who whine and complain about everything. This was not a disadter, it was a promotion that alot of people responded to. If you did not get “your” chicken, then go out and buy it yourself.
I tried this today in my area - a TWO HOUR WAIT for chicken. No kidding - one hour before they would even take orders, another hour to wait for chicken - and drive-thru was allowed to cut in line.
