Bitter Borders Compilation
At least it's justified bitterness manifesting in the form of some awesome passive aggression. Since filing for bankruptcy, Borders Books has been shutting down stores like they're going out of business style. Not all the employees are taking it well. But when you've got nothing to lose, humor and irony reign supreme.

The Borders in Carousel Mall, Syracuse was great until the stupid Mall owners built the addition (that has no tenants!) and blocked off the main entrance. You had to drive around to the back and go through the mall to get to the store. It was a PITA!

This is a pity becoz Amazon is intended for those people that dont have a real physical bookshop in town. You could use a visit to a Borders as somethin' more than a visit to a bookshop. What if you could meet a potential date there? I wish they could re-purpose or re-scope the 'experience you get visitn a real book shop, its not just fr the books'.

I read about the joys of going down with the ship when your retail store goes out of business in the book “Pretending You Care”—which was also my staff pick at one time whilst still employed by Borders—but 4 years was too much. I gave the company 6 months to last after I quit, I'm impressed they lasted a year and a half. Like I said, I'm sad I can't participate as it looks fun but quitting was the best thing I ever did. Guess I'll just have to go laugh at my boss and tell her all about my Kindle and my non-retail job that pays sooo much more :P
