1. Sydney was hit by a small unexpected storm early this afternoon.

2. The storm cell rolled in just before 2.00pm, bringing with it a rather scary looking shelf cloud.
3. Social media blew up with some terrifyingly beautiful shots.
4. The best view of the storm was on the coast.
5. Even better if you were visiting Sculpture By The Sea.
6. Although it looked just as menacing from the burbs too.
7. This was not a day for swimming at Bondi Beach.
