KOTOR is still today one of the most popular Star Wars games ever made and the irony of it is that when it was first announced, many people questioned the fact that Star Wars would make an RPG and that it would be any good. Imagine the surprise once fans got to check out this amazing game?
“Have you ever seen what a Star Destroyer can do to the surface of an unshielded planet? Stones run like water and sand turns to glass.”
―Carnor Jax to Mirith Sinn.
Star Destroyers have long been associated with massive firepower, and a sense of fear that would strike the hearts of all opposition. Carrying enough weapons to destroy entire star systems, from which their name was derived, these massive warships have long been a part of galactic history, in some form or another. Below, you will find a list of some past, present, and future (relatively speaking) versions of this titanic warship, and just how formidable they are. Via [SWTor Strategies ]
Here is a great deleted scene. It takes place on Bespin (Cloud City) as they are struggling with trusting Lando. I think it’s a great scene because it really does a better job at establishing the romantic relationship between Han and Leia. For your eyes only:
While Star Wars 1313 may not be happening any more it doesn’t mean that the assets of the cancelled project have to stay locked away for ever and ever, never to see the light of day again.
A production video showing motion capture being tried out for the game has been released, the results yielded look very impressive. You can check out these for yourself in the video at the bottom of the article.
Lucasfilm chief technology strategy officer Kim Libreri demonstrated a video of motion capture being processed in real-time by the Star Wars 1313 engine and its assets. Using the game’s capacities as an example, Libreri suggested that cinematic post-processing might eventually be supplemented or superseded by rendering technologies developed for videogames.
With that being said, it gives us hope that one day we may indeed see this method being used on a spiritual successor to Star wars 1313, maybe even Battlefront 3.

If you’re a fan of Revan, you’re going to want to keep updated on this project. This is a fan film in the works and you can be a part of helping to make it happen. They have full permissions from BioWare and Lucas Arts to use storyline in the way that they will for their film so it’s completely legit and on the up. It’s existing to know that this sort of thing is possible and easier today than ever before and that you can help be a part of it when you donate. And of course, if you donate, there are different prizes based on how much you contribute. So you can get a little something to remember your contribution.
