Lincolnshire born of Pictish genes stemming from Eilginn (Elgin) & Farrais (Forres). I guess I’ve traveled a very varied path to this point now. I lived in Lincs for 21 years where once I left school became a welder by trade and in my spare time I worked in the TA as a GPMG Gunner also as a Sgt Instructor in the Para cadets. I came to the realization that I was spending 6 out 7 days a week in green kit so might as well join the regular army. I opted for combat engineers or was that the recruiting Sgt? !!, anyway this part off my life opened all 3 of my eye’s to the world and the human race at it’s best and unfortunately worst
(N/Ireland & Bosnia) which prompted my resignation in 97 because of the bad man management that seems to be more increasingly common in the armed forces nowadays as the personnel become used more for UN police force. To coin a squadie phrase “BLOW THE WORLD UP THEN SWEEP IT UPâ€.
Having resided in the skid mark on the duvet of life (Tidworth)i ended up staying in the south west once i had left the army. This time resulted in one wonderful daughter called Tiegan then a while after a divorce. I was hopping around from career to career at this time which has resulted in a good Quals section on my CV from hairdressing to sports therapy. Whilst hair dressing i met a very dear friend (Jay)who has passed on to spirit but from his mortal time i learned that i should above all thing's be myself, which is where i evolved in to this image of a pierced cyber goth rocker that you see before you.
I ended up in Glastonbury after following my heart rather than other's ideals. This place helped me accept my Bisexuality which I had always repressed. This transition of self acceptance opened me to receiving the best gift i could ever receive, My wife Zoe and my children, though this took 3 years of working just round the corner from each other before we met!.
I now regard myself as a blessed soul to have Zoe in my world and have the chance to practice The Craft and Reiki in true balance of the male/female.
I am a craftsman of metal, wood and crystals though this has all been shelved at the moment due to my breaking my back in Jan 08. This has left me with Central Pain Syndrome CPS http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/central_pain/central_pain.htm which means I am in chronic neurological pain 24/7. Due to this i now find myself unable to venture in the workshop as it affects my neck, arms, hands spine and legs so l am also wheelchair user now. I try to keep mobile but if I don't reply straight away you know why.
I have now started an open degreee with the OU based around computing.
Balanced Blessings
Jay (Talis)
