Lady Gaga precursor.
Italian singer Adriano Celentano wrote this song in 1972 using a made up language designed to sound like English. You know, I think he nailed it. (via.)
Lady Gaga precursor.
BEST Dr. Who episode ever!
Lady GaGa can only hope to look and sound so cool.
This is SO good. Even though I find it a bit creepy (especially at the part where the girl stands up and sings)
This is totally awesome—and yet there's something about it that I find deeply disturbing. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is, but it's sort of like hearing your own voice recorded and played back to you for the first time.
I love hearing old comedy bits where people use doublespeak to approximate foreign languages, so this is pretty cool to see somebody else do it with English. And so much better. Granted, usually doublespeak is improvised, but still, this is pretty awesome.
To anyone who plays The Sims, this sounds perfectly normal. Seriously…it just proves that with a good beat, you can rule.
Here's another one of his hits. He's like the Italian Tom Jones! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jl204CfCGRg
this is absolutely amazing. very dylan-esque voice
I love it that the professor wears a trenchcoat in class. More of that in real life, please!
I think he is speaking Italian. What ever the case, that beat and video is awesome.
It's Bob Dylan mixed with Pink Floyd and James Brown. I love it.
I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE THINKS WERE SO COOL!

70's Italian choreography and fashion. La Dolce Vita Baby!
Dude that beat is HOT. It's just begging to be sampled.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's singing about shoes, lotsa shoe talk in there.
