I’m a lady and don’t think it’s that people have anything against(straight,cis) white dudes. It’s just that they are more than represented in the public eye/media, whereas other groups (women, minorities, people that identify as LGBTQ) are significantly less represented- and when they are it is often with a skewed view or to fill a token role. So it’d be nice to mix it up a bit :)
