"Biweekly" is a scourge on the English language.
You see, "biweekly" has not one, but TWO definitions.
And not two similar definitions, but two TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND CONTRADICTORY definitions. What the hell, English?
Let's say you get an email like this from your boss:
Great. Easy enough. Just go to your calendar and set a meeting for once every two weeks...
...unless they meant twice a week? Shit.
Don't worry. There's already a solution for all your problems. Reintroducing "fortnightly."
And the best part of "fortnightly"? One fucking definition.
Which means "biweekly" can go back to just having the one meaning too.
