I love that! I wish that America appreciated and cherished its arts and culture as much as Europe. I will say that I’ve see big productions in big cities but it seems like the best crowds I’ve encountered have been in small to medium sized cities. They don’t have Broadway caliber shows often so when one turns up the people really appreciate it.

Love Paul and Linda…what a great pair they were. The thing that I always loved about The Beatles is that they were the biggest rock stars on the planet but they all settled down and stayed married to the same spouses for a long time and had a domestic lifestyle. Compared to everyone else in the music biz who have many wives and choose a celebrity lifestyle over family.

I agreed with Jennifer, Marilyn was actually quite a smart woman. Her public image was all an act to put on a show. Those whole knew her closely always said that she was loving, caring, of course prone to depression and she absolutely loved to read.

Napping is alright but you have to keep it under 30-45 minutes. Otherwise you enter R.E.M. sleep and then feel way worse than before.

I have a friend who LOVES Harry Potter and has read them over and over and listened to all the audio books. I actually would make her the wrapping paper but I’d probably actually use the whole theme and make her other things with the pages. And then I would have to re-buy whichever HP book from my collection that I ruined for a friend lol

Actually many people consider both forms to be 2 entirely separate classics in their own way. And while Stephen King did hate how Kubrick changed his story he later said that the film was an entirely separate masterwork.

The funny thing about that is that armor is actually more protective and better for women. The military is finally starting to manufacture armor specifically designed for women’s bodies.

Are you my soul sister? Lol. Playing games together is one of my bf and I’s favorite things to do together. I also hate PC gaming because it seems like all the PC gamer peeps are sexist a-holes who are the type to look down on console gamers. I worked at Best Buy for a long time and knew quite a few other girls who liked gaming and all the guys who worked there were awesome about it. I, too, hate how women gamers are treated online so I avoid all the bullcrap. I’m a grown women and I reserve the right to own my pink ds and 360 controller and act as girly as I want while logging a hundred hours on fallout.  The best thing about the Internet is that I can avoid any kind of sexist jerks and instead find other nice people who share my interests regardless of gender. I’ve become much more interested in the actual gaming community ever since I became a member at true achievements because everyone there just loves to game and there are groups for women gamers. I’ve been able to join up on group gaming sessions where I don’t have to worry about random jerks joining and harassing anyone so that’s nice.

Did you not pick up that the tone of the article was sarcastic?

Yes, I found it very odd that they didn’t even show the console and then they whip out the controller like we’re supposed to be impressed. “Ohhhhh it’s the same as before but with a screen!” I don’t think it bodes well for Sony either and I can’t be bothered with a new console if they don’t even have any games to promote. I think a lot of people (including myself) are going to sit this one out when they release it.

Maybe the problem with them losing their “core” gamers is the fact they truly believe it’s only young men that are gaming. I know many women, myself included, who are hardcore gamers and are sick of being overlooked. And most of the guys I know aren’t even true gamers in my eyes. They only play Madden, whatever new COD is out, and Halo.
