my goodness….poor author…have you been to Europe? even small and poor countries such as Moldova (am sure u dont even know where it is situated) have wifi everywhere, so states like France, Germany, UK etc. have wifi everywhere! go to ur favourite mcdonalds or starbucks and u will get wifi for sure. plus to that in hotels, restaurants, public libraries and sometimes just simply on the street! ice coffee u can get everywhere as well… shopping malls are nth new eather…we have more brands that the us….jsut the clothes are awesome in comparison to snickers, shorts and tshirts. the most famous brands come from Euroe…while studying i always called the pizza place to deliver some hot italian pizza cos cooking would cost too much time…and that was in a small city in Germany! i can say that in the usa mcdonalds, kfc, burger king etc. are 24h open so no wonder that an ordinary american is as fat as two europeans together…btw in berlin u can find many fast food places as well as supermarkets that are open all nite through…plus clubbing starting friday night and till monday noon. havent seen smth like that in the us….not even in nyc. about convenience stores dont know either…in berlin u have späti, a small store open all nite where u can get some snack and beverages. plus u shouldnt hide ur beer in a beg…u can just drink on the street! have u heard about that? the thing with driving a car is simply hilarious…u have never been on the autobahn or autoroute in France? in germany, bth, u can drive as fast as u want on the highway (in comparison to the usa). the water fountains u can get in every hot country, e.g. Italy. american chocolate is a matter of taste, i prefer dark chocolate which is hard to find in the usa. anyhow…saying EUROPE is stange already bcs it the whole continent with 47 (!) independent states which is not like 50 states of america - it is just one (!) counrty. so travel again and u will see that evrth u mentioned is a complete BULLSHIT p.s. i am sure u can only drive automatic thats why u had difficulties on our roads.

oh my gosh…some american guys having no idea about france and europe in general…that’s so sad. i havent seen a bigger studipity and rudeness than on the streets of nevada and california. people didnt even know what europe is…many thought paris is the capital of the eu or that hitler is still in power. so before getting into the superficial comments and tips on french cuisine or sports, inform yourself about the country and its history! start reading flaubert, de balzac, dumas, proust, moliere and dozens of other literary titans. louvre is the biggest museum of the world, but if u r writing about the tranquility of rodin gardens, then you must take a look for the 19th art movement of originally paris-based impressionim artists catching the zeitgeist of that time. go to le musee d’orsay and take a look at pics of degas, renoir, monet, pissarro and many others.
i guess the only thing u tried was baguette and some cheese…every single region of france is famous for specific culinary traditions. u cannot compare cote d’azur with normandie or elsass with corse…they all have much more to offer than a loaf of bread! i assume u have never been to other places in europe where a cow tongue is a normal thing to eat. you can see even brain or testicles on the markets of barcelona and sardinia. russians prepare a cow tongue with different herbs and bake it in the oven. there is nothing strange about it…of course, it is different than mcdonald’s where chicken filet is just some processed genetically modified gigantic poulet and fish burger has no fish inside…go to marseille if u r lookin for some good seafood.
and leraning some french is never bad…liberte, egalite, fraternite (1789)…these words are almost as old as ur country itself (1776)
so have fun in france et bon courage!
