68 years later, Archie picks the brunette. Score one for bitchy (but charming!), high-maintenance women everywhere. (For the record, I still think he'll switch to Betty by part 5. The Girl Next Door always wins. This is “America.”)

Good! i love brunettes, too!
I'm actually interested in reading it since it was what I read when I was a kid (no comic book stores where I lived then) but I would have to turn in my man card at the same time.
Final proof that you don't have to dye your hair blond to win, ladies. So cut it out. (If Archie would dye his black, speaking of that, that unfortunate gridwork pattern might not show through as noticeably)
I knew there was a reason I suffered through an entire life's worth of “Veronica? Like Betty and Veronica?” Suck it, Betty.
What's very interesting is that Serena and Blair are the modern day Betty and Veronica. While some may see Veronica/Blair as bitchy and controlling, in reality, she is just strong and independent. On the flip side, Betty/Serena is weak and constantly crying. Of course Archie (Nate Archibald, *ahem*) picked Veronica, any man would.
