Sales of offal, or weird edible animal parts, have surged thanks to the terrible economy.
The cheaper cuts are particularly popular in Britain and France, where people are used to eating testicles and brains on a regular basis. Americans still like their variety meat disguised as McDonald's or euphemized as “sweetbreads,” but I have a feeling that $2/lb testicles might change that.
