Another lesson in internet consequences: a professor at St. Olaf College in Minnesota was fired after writing about stealing McCain signs for the Huffington Post. posted His post says he understands “that stealing a sign will not change anyone’s mind;” it is unclear whether he understood that stealing is illegal.

  • As a St. Olaf student, let me make it clear that he is a visiting professor, not tenured or anything. This was his first semester.

  • It shows how low people in this country have sunk. When keeping people in jail without a trial, torturing people, premptive strikes, breaking any law you want because you're the president or vice president - people think it's ok to be a jerk. Hopefully, with President Obama we will have a real role model and begin to act like grown ups with ethical standards.

  • Doofus. NEVER write about hijinks & crap like that! I'm sure the GObama campaign is proud of this jewel. Just like we're proud of the dork that carved up her own face.
