Giant Babies: A History
In honor of the 19-pound baby, here is an incomplete but loving round-up of the larger births on record. The largest baby ever born was 23 lbs, but that happened in 1879 so no picture. Special note: giant babies are usually caused by diabetes. It’s the mom’s fault, don’t be mean.
