It is predictable and telling, but still stupid and tired and disingenuous enough to gag over, that ANYONE with ANY level of credibility is not dismissing this issue out of hand. Seriously—discussing whether Obama is a citizen and therefore qualified to be president is a conversation for total conspiracy nuts, lunatic fringe freaks, and a few unfortunate paranoid schizophrenics. There are plenty of legitimate issues to disagree on, and I can't help but feel that if the extreme right (which at this point pretty much seems to BE the GOP—see any of the tiny posse of BuzzFeed neocons) was even a tiny bit unified and organized, they'd be kicking these nutjobs to the curb so that they could move on to substantive arguments. Instead, even supposedly “moderate” Republicans are going out of their way to pay obeisance to these nutters and their crazy ideas. C'mon people—to be so scared of these loons that you pay attention to them is just downright pitiful. I liked it a lot better when the worst members of both parties were garden-variety political scumbags acting on behalf of lobbyists out of greed.
