These Illustrations For The Kyoto Zoo Are Hilariously Awkward

Might be time to hire a new artist, huh?

Kyoto, Japan, has lots of beautiful attractions. While I was there, I visited many breathtaking temples and savored excellent food.

However, these ads for the Kyoto Zoo, which are plastered all over the subway system, aren't so great.

That flying squirrel looks as confused as I am. Is that a goat? Where are its eyes?

This is just too much. Where even to begin?

    Is that leopard... melting?

No zoo is complete without a drooling white flamingo.

Why are these monkeys so sad?

    What.

    WHAT.

    This doesn't even make sense.

"Come see our disgruntled, deformed giraffe creatures!"

Is that a giant frog? No, seriously. Is it?

This hippo knows it should not exist.

Everyone knows gorillas have Lego hands.

Maaaybe it's time for a redesign?
