PostSecret is an online community where people share their innermost thoughts, fears and perversions anonymously. Typically, the secrets are shared as postcards, but people have begun to read theirs aloud.
The confessions can be funny, like one in which a young girl reveals that she has masturbated pretty much everywhere, including her church and school.
Or they can be sad, like one in which a woman admits that she actually didn't receive that final text from a suicidal friend after all.
But above all, the secrets are inspiring. They allow us to revel in the fact that, even though we are different or have defects, like this young man with a heart problem, we are unique.
