Instagram is totally chill with you showing your sideboob. But you're not allowed to search the hashtag #sideboob. Weird.

But there are tricks around this with alternate hashtag spellings.

On the other hand, you can totally search for #underboob.

But you can't search for #cleavage, #boobs, #boobies or #boobz. Yet #booby is totally chill.

#Bra is not ok, but #bras is!

No dice with #nude or #nudes, but #nudepainting and #nudesculpture are fine.

So WTF is going on here? Apparently, you're only allowed to show breasts when they have mastectomy scarring, are breastfeeding, are on a nude sculpture, or in a photo of a nude sculpture.

Davison from LOLPervs decided to do some testing. She pretended to breastfeed while topless, gave herself some fake scars, and even painted herself black and gold to look like a statue!

Then, she framed a digital painting of herself as the sculpture to show that it's OK to show her fully exposed breasts in that context, but not if she were to take a selfie in the same statue makeup.

None of these photos were taken down, as they fit with Instagram's nudity policy.
