We got together with Jordan Witzigreuter from The Ready Set on his new music and what to expect from him in the near future.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Jordan Witzigreuter, from The Ready Set on his experience now from his first Warped Tour. He explained how his style has changed from the beginning to now.

Jordan: I am Jordan, and I am in The Ready Set.

Zhayda: How have you been enjoying tour so far?

J: Oh, it's been awesome so far, the crowd's been amazing. Pretty much everyday's been great.

Z: What's your favorite city to playing?

J: Long Island, it's been the biggest crowd so far. All of the East Coast is pretty awesome like that, that whole part of the States is just amazing.

Z: What do you like so far about Warped Tour?

J: It's the second time I've done it, and it's better this time. It was easier getting into it, and it's just a bunch of craziness all day long. Sure, some days can be kind of hard, but I love it.

Z: Comparison of your experience with your first Warped two years ago to this one?

J: It's better now in the sense that we have a lot more bands that we are friends with now. Their fan bases are kind of meshed with ours, and so it's just a lot of people and it's great.

Z: How do you think your sound has changed from Love Like Woe to now?

J: I think I kind of just figured out what I was doing a little bit more. I don't try to change, but I just progress.

Z: Favorite memory of tour?

J: That's kind of tough, but probably the first time I was in the Philippines. The crowds were a lot more crazy than I expected.

Z: What's your favorite part about performing live?

J: My favorite part about performing live is the intro and the ending, I think that's where the most energy is at.

Z: What song do you like performing live?

J: Give Me Your Hand is my favorite. It seems to have gotten the best reaction, and people seem to go crazy with that one.

Z: Where's the one place you'd love to travel to?

J: I'd really love to play in Japan. That's definitely on the agenda.

Z: Where do you see yourself in five years music-wise?

J: I don't know, just progressing from where I am now. Keep things interesting, keep changing.

Z: Do you prefer playing your new songs or your old songs?

J: I play the new songs more because their new, but I really like playing the old songs because those are the ones people know. Those are the ones people enjoy the most, so I enjoy playing them more, even though they're older.

Z: If you could record a song with anybody who would it be and why?

J: Prince. Prince because he's awesome.

Z: Craziest experience with a fan.

J: I had one of those people that runs on stage and latches on to you, kind of like an attack. I don't know, I haven't really had any crazy experiences like that. So I guess I'm lucky in that respect.

Z: What can we expect from you now? Do you have any new projects or ideas?

J: Yeah, I'm going to have another tour after Warped Tour. And then I don't know, we'll see what happens.

Z: What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?

J: Put all your time and all your energy into it if you want to do it. You have to throw yourself into it one-hundred percent. That's my best advice, just fully throw yourself into it.

Z: Any messages or advice to your fans?

J: There's no exact message, I just write songs that feel good to me and I hope people can feel good with them and relate to them. There's no exact message I want people to interpret, people can interpret it however they want to.

Z: Who do you like touring with us so far?

J: Everyone. We The Kings, Breathe Carolina, The Summer Set, The Maine. I've pretty much toured with all of them, this time it feels like a family reunion.
