RNC Chairman Says Obama's Immigration Move Is Political

Tells reporters that Obama hasn't kept his promises on immigration. Not sure it's legal.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — RNC Chairman Reince Priebus reacted to the Obama administration's immigration announcement today at the Faith and Freedom Coalition.

"Well, he's made a lot of promises that he hasn't kept," Priebus told reporters after his remarks to the conservative confab.

"I think president is all politics, all the time," he said when asked if he thought the announcement was politically motivated.

The announcement by the Department of Homeland Security that it will not pursue deportation for certain young illegal immigrants, circumvented congressional action the so-called DREAM Act, which has been opposed by many Republicans.

Does he think the DHS decision is legal?

"I haven't seen it. I've seen a Yahoo story on it, so I don't know," Priebus said.
