You always have a tremendous amount of energy making each practice super fun while making sure that we get things done. You are obsessed with Spanish culture, cat stickers and any type of dancing. 
Whether you’re saving lives at Harpur’s Ferry, or our dance moves during practice, you’re ready for any challenge that comes your way.

Anveeta Jagasia

You are a fan of watching movies and like to do stuff with your hands when you’re bored. You would love to one day marry Chris Evans and go to pastry school to become a world renown Pastry Chef.

Ava Loch

You are the oldest member of the team hence our Bhangra mom. You’re extremely talented and passionate about dance, considering you’ve been doing it for your entire college career. You are the probably the calmest member of our team, always ready to shed wisdom where needed and are going to be an amazing teacher some day.

Christina Portante

You are incredibly organized and are the spitting image of a good resume. You like doing things outdoors like hiking, swimming and camping. You love to travel and spend time with friends during your free time.

Abhishek Paul

You are as ratchet as they come. Anything with free food and you will be there in a heartbeat. Your contagious laughter and outgoing nature makes you an extremely comfortable person to talk to. You would rather spend time dancing with close friends than go out to a club any day.

Deepthi John

A natural born dancer, you are probably the coolest member of Binghamton Bhangra. Adored by everyone, you are always down for anything, especially oranges and corny jokes. In the future you aspire to one day light up houses like it’s the eve of Diwali.

Dulari Patel

Although quiet, you are one of the sweetest members of the team with a knack for Nicki Minaj and Guacamole. You love bubble tea and aspire to become a nurse, where you can use your caring and understanding nature to save lives.

Anjali Patel

Always down for a good time, you are constantly trying to bring this team together through bonding activities. You’re always there to lighten up the mood during practice and are determined to improve your bhangra skills every day. When you’re not at Pi Kapp Phridays, you spend your time being a real estate agent where you can use your persistence to rack up some dough.

Edward Yu

From the minute you joined the team, you’ve been killing every performance you’ve been a part of. You’re probably the nicest and most accepting person on the team, always very humble, despite your rockin’ skills as a dancer. You are also a true fan of horror movies and shows and always down for a good scare.

Fernando Villagra

You are the most social person in your friend group, always down to do anything adventurous. You’re involved in almost anything around campus, yet you never fail to be great friend. You spend your days preparing for law school, and nights being a DJ, making any event a LITuation. (Business inquiries welcome)

Habeeb Sheikh

The sassiest and probably the most loved member of Binghamton Bhangra, you never fail to be absolutely fabulous in anything you do. You are multitalented as you spend your time singing, dancing and playing scratch offs. You absolutely hate snakes and feel a personal connection to Buddhism and one day will hopefully save the world with your teaching skills.

Jamison Wezelis

A natural born dancer, you spend your time thinking of new choreography and going to Walmart at ungodly hours of the night. You have an intense passion for anything Bhangra, and are quite the shoe enthusiast. You spend your summers driving a cab and meeting up with famous Punjabi celebrities, because you got it like that.

Jaspinder Ratth

You are filled with many hidden talents, as you can dance Bhangra, Kandyan and rap Nicki Minaj lyrics upon request. You hope to one day explore South America and try Formula One Racing (whatever that is right?). Your passions include singing, dancing and painting.

Jasmine Rodrigo

You’re often conflicted with your white skin color and inner brown girl, as you kill every bhangra performance you’ve ever been in. You live through pumpkin spice lattes and CPT (Caramel Princess Time). Also, your spirit animal is Mindy Kailing.

Lauren Zipper

Naturally hilarious, you generally spend your time brushing your teeth and coming up with strange home remedies to treat the common cold. Your least favorite word is moist and your least favorite activity is yelling. Your turn ons include free shipping and anything coffee. You are an excellent listener and very genuine as you are always ready to help a friend in need. You are reliable and open-minded as you fight to one-day trump the patriarchy.

Natasha Sharma

If a chill pill had a human form, it would be you. Not only are you killer at Catan, but you’ve been known as the girl who has had the most jank phone since middle school. You spend your time DJing for WHRW, watching re-runs of Rick and Morty and drinking any form of bubble tea.

Navi Arneja

You are an avid fan of Bob’s Burgers and are turned on by corny pick up lines. You identify as a farmers market worker who isn’t afraid to wear her Birks despite its credibility as a fashion statement. You are in love with Evan Peters and one day you hope to find someone who will pronounce your name correctly on the first try.

Ngawang Dolma

You are always down for a movie night and are a huge fan of anything sushi. You want to adopt a senior dog as soon as possible. You loved David Bowie in “The Labyrinth” and like to think of yourself as pretty Irish. Oh yeah and potatoes, yupp.

Nicki Tornabene

The sweetest member of the team, you are often the go-to person when anyone has a problem they want to talk about. You are incredibly creative and multitalented as you can sing, dance and do marital arts. You bring a good rep to New Jersey, even though no one really lives there. You are an inspiration to all your friends and can face any challenge that comes your way even if it includes being paralyzed in the right leg.

Nupur Murthy

You spend your Saturday nights making scrapbooks dedicated to Zayn Malik and China is your favorite type of food (??). You have a really great sense of humor and are adored by everyone on the team. Also, people should never offer you food in the hopes that you’ll say no, because you will literally never say no, even if they want you to.

Paramvir Singh

You have a burning passion for rappers of different sizes and skin tones. You are obsessed with basketball, Kendrick Lamar and eating. You like to think of yourself as multitalented since you can ball, dance and used to be able to play the piano.

Rohith Reddy

You are as Indian as it gets, because you LITERALLY LOVE INDIA. You are an incredible friend and force people to get out of their comfort zones so that they can accomplish the most in life. You love bhangra, and stick with the team through thick and thin. You have an odd obsession with matching your earrings with your outfits, but it’s what makes you your unique self.

Saisree (Sigh)

With your natural leadership abilities, you are a real friend to everyone on the team. Your understanding and comfortable nature makes you really easy to talk to, making you the go-to for any problem that comes our way. Your adaptability allows this team to move forward and achieve new heights, whether you’re dancing as Sarah or Tyrone. BHANGRA IS LOVE BHANGRA IS LIFE.

Sarah Babu

When you’re not at Pi Kapp Phridays or doing your engineering stuff (whatever engineers do?) you spend your time playing the guitar and piano. You have a knack for all things brown, and aspire to one day marry Kajol and make mad money.

Shane Krisa

You are such an adorable person and everyone on the team absolutely adores you. You are most known for your killer dance moves and hook ups at Starbucks. You are passionate about anything you do, and everyone is confident you will reach great heights.

Stefanie Joseph

You are a fan of riot punch, netflix and a passionate supporter of Androids. You are absolutely hilarious as well as incredibly smart, while also having a hidden talent of playing the banjo.
