Giving up on educating your white friends and having to respond to one of their ignorant remarks by saying

Having to check someone who you already don't like about a blatantly racist comment

Having every compliment given to you followed by (for a black girl/guy)

Being told how articulate or eloquent you are, as if you're the exception

Your white friends telling you they're "blacker than" you

Hearing classmates constantly throw around the terms "ghetto" and "ratchet"

Having people playfully greet only you with "hay gurrrll" or "aye what's up bruh"

Having opponents of any team you were on accuse your school of recruiting

Having people reduce your athletic ability to black people "having an extra ligament"
19.
Being told that your family voted for Obama only "because he's Black"

Having people at your school always assume you listened to *insert rapper*'s new mixtape as if blackness = an appreciation of the entire rap genre

Having everyone try to match you up with the only other black private school kid they know

Graduating but still having to deal with the constant stream of racism via Facebook
