Ingredients

Makes 16

3 Ounces Jell-O powder (any flavor)

1 Cup Boiling water

½ Cup Vodka (or other spirit)

½ Cup Cold water

Preparation

1. Combine Jell-O powder and boiling water. Stir until dissolved.

2. Add vodka and cold water. Stir.

3. Divide mixture evenly into shot glasses and refrigerate until set.

4. To make layered shots, prepare one Jell-O flavor at a time, allowing the layer to solidify in the fridge before mixing and pouring the next color.

5. Add a piece of fruit to one of the layers, like a small berry, by dropping it in before that layer sets.

6. To create sideways layers, follow the same instructions as for step 4, but angle the cups a little differently each time you allow a layer to set. A great way to do this is to prop the cups up sideways using a muffin tin to hold them in place.

7. To create an orange slice shot, cut the fruit in half, and hollow out each side with a spoon. Prepare a packet of Jell-O powder and pour into the hollowed-out citrus shells. After the jello has set, slice into pieces. Each orange half creates 3-4 slices.
