A Day In The Life Of A Customer Service Representative (As Told By The Office)

Because talking to people is harder than it looks.

You start the day off, feeling pretty good with your cup of Starbucks. You're ready to slay.

And then that first customer calls...

And the phone keeps ringing and ringing and ringing....

You have to start giving out discounts to people like it's your job (because essentially it is)

And you start to feel like you're society's lowest of the low.

Because you've got all of these people who know nothing about your company telling you what to do, and you want to scream, but you can't.

And the day carries on and on, and the phones keep ringing...

You feel blessed when you talk to that ONE customer who had a simple question about the website, and actually said thank you for your time.

And then your co-worker gets a call from one of your snobby customers who asks directly for you and tries to transfer it...

But you just smile and take it anyways.

Lunch has come and gone, and you start to lose your patience.

You try as hard as you can not to take the insults personally

The only thing worse than the phone ringing is the boredom that sets in when the phone isn't ringing.

You leave for the day and your phone starts blowing up with customer complaints.

And although your job is full of people you hate, you get to work with people you love.
