Due to an unfortunate leaking incident, Nickelodeon was forced to start airing the latest season of the hit teen-fantasy early - the season's dates were announced less than two weeks in advance of the three-part premier that aired Friday. While this may not be ideal from a network standpoint, fans of the series have been waiting months for information and were thrilled to be getting their fix so soon.
Many fans feel the Korra series pales in comparison to the original Avatar: The Last Airbender. Regardless of your opinion of the first two Korra seasons, here is a GIF-based recap of the beginning of Book 3 to get you pumped for a summer in Ba Sing Se:
