The anchor takes our Q&A!
What's the wallpaper on your phone and/or computer?
My phone wallpaper is a picture of me with my nieces and nephew in Orlando. I look a hot mess. Hair natural with a Popeye T-shirt on. Can't be "cute" and ride the Hulk roller coaster.
When you walk into a bar, what do you typically order?
Wine or something with vodka. Dark liquor is not for me.
What's the one word you are guilty of using too often?
What is the last thing you searched for on Google?
Best brunch places in NYC.
Who is the last person that called or texted you?
My mom! She’s my best friend.
What was the last awkward situation you were in and how did you handle it?
I met Bon Jovi on the way to Washington, D.C. I think I called him Jon Jovi. Ugghhhh. I just smiled and pretended it didn't happen. I love him and his wife, they’re so sweet. I was very nervous.
When is the last time you went to a theater?
I saw Top 5 with Chris Rock, but I hate going to the movies. The popcorn is never fresh and the seats feel dirty. I swear I am not a germaphobe.
What TV show should everyone be watching?
NBC’s TODAY show, Deadline: Crime on ID, and NewsNation on MSNBC. Why? Hmmm guess!
And what is your TV guilty pleasure?
Well it used to be Love & Hip Hop. I would lie when someone called and asked what I was doing.
What's the first CD you bought?
It was either Guy with Teddy Riley or New Edition, or possibly Jodeci.
What is the one food you cannot resist?
Chocolate cupcakes or cake.
What music are you currently listening to?
I love Jidenna and Leon Bridges. My current party anthem is the song "Dr. Pepper." Thank you Diplo for that one!
What movie makes you laugh the most?
I love edgy comedy. Coming to America still gets me and Friday. I watch old Richard Pryor stand-up on VHS too.
What drives you absolutely crazy?
People who don't say “please” or “thank you.”
What's your favorite day of the year?
September 16, my birthday. Gifts and cake!
What was your first online screen name?
What's your favorite emoji?
Pick one: kittens or puppies?
New York or Los Angeles?
Comedy or drama?
Bacon or Nutella?
Coffee or tea?
'80s or '90s?
Britney or Christina?
NSYNC or BSB?
Beyoncé or Rihanna?
I will not let you make me choose. Let's just say the Beyhive is no joke.
Hannah Montana or Lizzie McGuire?
Hannah Montana because she grew up to be Miley. That girl is fierce!
And finally: Tell us a secret.
I have PJs with a music icon’s face given to me by the icon. I sleep in it way too much.
