1. It is awesome. You will love the vast amount of independence you experience.
2. You will meet a ton of fun, new people!
3. These new friends will do and say things different from you.
4. You're going to miss home like crazy.
5. But it's gong to take longer than the week you thought it would.
6. You'll get your first care package from family and you will cry.
7. You'll miss food from your home state.
8. The first time you go home, you're going to eat every single food that you miss.
9. Your new state apparently has their own unique, good food, too. And you'll miss it when you're at home.
10. You find out who your friends are.
11. If you decide to study abroad, you have a WAY easier time with the distance and keeping in touch with people back home compared to those who have lived in the same state all of their life.
12. You wish you could be in two places at once.
13. You didn't realize it was possible to love two places so much.
14. There are days when all you want is something familiar and home. But home is far away, so you're stuck.
15. But you persevere and you're fine (eventually).
16. Despite the ups and downs, you wouldn't choose another school.
