The Likeliest Contestants For RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 2

With Mother Ru officially gracing the children with the announcement that All Stars Season 2 (ASS2) is finally happening, there has been so much buzz about which queens will be asked back. Shoot, some of these queens have been campaigning since All Stars Season 1, but that's another story. I've taken the time to "organize" the queens most likely to be asked back. ***Please note that this list was not formed based on my own opinion of these contestants - or any other contestants, for that matter - rather it is my opinion of what we can expect from a "producer's eye"***

So Close, Yet So Not the Winner

These queens made it to the top 3 and had their dreams ripped right from under them. I truly think that all three of these queens will be back for All Stars Season 2, as all of them were favorites among their season as well. You either loved them or you didn't.

In Phi Phi and Ginger's case, editing was their downfall. The producers LOVED to make those two seem like the evil bitches of their seasons. They also took that lazy, stoner, sleepy vibe and RAN WITH IT when it came to Pearl's editing.

So Not Even Close, And So Not the Winner

No shade on that title, but these queens were the first eliminated on their season.

Victoria "Porkchop" Parker has been campaigning to be on All Stars for years and rightly so. She's a sweetheart and a wonderful queen. Hell, there's a reason why Ru is sure to say, "Hey Porkchop," at every reunion taping.

Venus D-Lite has been busy impersonating Madonna and starting feuds with Bianca Del Rio, but producers may give her a chance to redeem herself on ASS2.

I think everyone can agree that saggy body suit and crabs, or no saggy body suit and crabs, Tempest deserves a second chance.

The Congenial Crew

Katya (S7), BenDeLaCreme (S6), Ivy Winters (S5)

There's a reason all three of these queens were voted Miss Congeniality of their seasons: viewers loved them to death and wanted to see them go further in the competition. I sat through the Season 7 taping this year and Katya's applause lasted at least 3-5 minutes.

BenDeLa and Ivy have both been on the Battle of the Seasons Tour and BenDeLa is finishing up a summer theatre residence in P-Town.

The Fan Faves

Ongina (S1), Tatianna (S2), Delta Work (S3), Trixie Mattel (S7), and Max (S7)

All of these ladies were definitely favorites on their seasons. I think Ongina, Tati, and Delta should have been included on Season 1 (not as van drivers, in Ongina and Delta's cases). Tati is probably one of the most quoted queens, all because of a simple, "Thank you." Trixie may get asked back again (third time's a charm?) And though I wasn't personally very sad about Max's departure from Season 7, many people were. All 5 of these queens have a good chance to return.

The "Bred for Success" Crew

Alaska (S5), Willam (S4), and Alyssa Edwards (S5)

The reason I say that these queens were bred for success is because each of them has their own YouTube series (Bro'Laska, Willam's Beatdown, and Alyssa's Secret, respectively). Though Willam's series is not World of Wonder produced, she had her own following immediately after her elimination from season 4. All three of these queens has a VERY large chance of being asked back to try again!

Viva Puerto Rico!

If Ru was going to give any of the Puerto Rican girls another shot, it would be these two. Jessica was top 5 of her season and April is just serving straight up pescada (fish) baby! Both of these ladies deserve a shot to bring it home to PR!
